Zapcat Racing held its first race season in 2001, over the last 9 seasons, five teams have been crowned National Champion, triple winners - Martyn Willcox & Will Evans in their Tohatsu sponsored Wet Willy are making their first bid since 2006 to win the title back.

Current Champions Craig Davis & Rob Martin in Bluesheets will be out to prove along with many other teams that past champions are exactly that - past it!

Most Zapcat teams are involved for 2 - 5 years but there is always an exception (or two) to a rule and we are very pleased to have Scaredy Cat & Team Suffolk racing again in 2010, both teams have raced every year and attended almost every race meet since their Rookie 2002 season, quite an achievement.

This season we anticipate the largest entry for the Championships since 2004, which says a huge amount about the people who race, friendships made, places we visit, the fantastic support from spectators, teams, sponsors and officials and sheer excitement and enjoyment of this one-design sport.

Finally in this round up, we wish Nikki Drummond all the very best with her new Team Manager & PR role supporting Shelly Jory Leigh in her P1 campaign and hope that she will have the time to catch up with us at a couple of events.
